Fitted the Meike Battery Grip and works as expected. By: Mr Colin B, on February 1, 2019 Pros: Cons: "I needed a quick delivery on a BL cover for a Meike battery grip for a D850. The Nikon one was the only one available so I paid the higher price to get it. It arrived next day which was good and fitted the Meike grip I already had. |

The plastic is plastic, but the point of failure is the mechanical locking mechanism. Nikon ones robust/solid, alternative are cheap and mine broke. Nikon ones all working and no sign of locking point failure any time soon. |

If you use the larger capacity batteries, except the high cost for a piece of plastic By: Oddsox, on October 7, 2014 Pros: Cons: "A rather expensive piece of Nikon plastic; however for those who already use the larger capacity batteries from Nikon this item reduces the number of chargers required while out on location with multiple camera bodies. It goes without saying you will also see improved longevity per charge with such batteries. For me at least it's an easy decision, but for those who don't already have a camera with the larger capacity batteries its a very expensive option when you have to buy the charger. |
