Failed. Flash drive is not recognized by computer. By: Dirk, on January 7, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Defective product. Computer does not recognize the flash drive after 3 x use. I thought that was due to the Security Vault function, but not so. I purchased this stick to replace another Sandisk flash drive that was no longer recognised. So rubbish product. Luckily I had a backup of the data!!! I cannot return it to Amazon, because there is important data on the drive, so I have to destroy it. That is the second Sandisk drive in 4 weeks that gets the hammer. |

So I contacted the SanDisk help desk and they were greatly good, they called me, and sorted everything out. They even rang again the next day to see if all was well. The problem had occurred because it did not make clear in the instructions whether to choose Ex-Fat or Fat32. It was Ex-Fat and I would not have known this without help. But it is a really excellent flash drive. Would buy again. |

I needed one fast to do a clean windows install and this arrived next day and had more than enough room. It has fast transfer, installed my clean version of windows quickly and is worth it because you can get windows for free and my computer manufacturer wanted to charge me £32 for one despite the fact that im under an extended warranty. At time of purchase this was cheaper than an 8gb but i did grab it on a black friday deal. |

However, I did have an issue with the keyring hole as that easily snaps off because of the poor bit of plastic that is on the other side. It's not a deal breaker but means I can't attach this to my key and take it around with me. |

Found that the transfer speed is still pretty quick. The feature I liked about it was that the drive was retractable and so potentially would not get damaged. However, i found that the latch which keeps the drive retracted did not hold and i would continually find that it had exposed the drive. The outer shell also feels a bit cheap |
