My only problem with this item was the plastic keyring clip snapped due to that being where the injection moulded plastic joins itself - theres effectively a fault line there so if you put these on the key ring you're likely to lose it. Failed. Flash drive is not recognized by computer. By: Dirk, on January 7, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Defective product. Computer does not recognize the flash drive after 3 x use. I thought that was due to the Security Vault function, but not so. I purchased this stick to replace another Sandisk flash drive that was no longer recognised. So rubbish product. Luckily I had a backup of the data!!! I cannot return it to Amazon, because there is important data on the drive, so I have to destroy it. That is the second Sandisk drive in 4 weeks that gets the hammer. |

STURDY AND POWERFUL By: anglo4849, on December 20, 2017 Pros: Cons: "I have a number of memory sticks and have always found SanDisk to be the best of them. They're sturdy, quick and reliable - or at least they've never let me down yet and I use them a lot. This device holds 64gb of files, which is adequate for most practical purposes although you can get 128gb (which I have for my major backups) and even 256gb. If you're in doubt about what product to buy, as there are so many competing brands, I can only say I recommend SanDisk from my own good experiences. |

Watch out for the encryption software. BAD!!!!! By: Mr B, on December 11, 2017 Pros: Cons: "Be very careful with the Sandisk Secure Access encryption software. Have had two of these drives and both have failed and I have lost all of the data because I can't access the encrypted section of the drive. I updated the software (to 3.1) on the drive and then it would not recognise my password. Only ever use the same password for my USB drives. Really, really angry as lost some really important documentation. |

So I contacted the SanDisk help desk and they were greatly good, they called me, and sorted everything out. They even rang again the next day to see if all was well. The problem had occurred because it did not make clear in the instructions whether to choose Ex-Fat or Fat32. It was Ex-Fat and I would not have known this without help. But it is a really excellent flash drive. Would buy again. |

However, I did have an issue with the keyring hole as that easily snaps off because of the poor bit of plastic that is on the other side. It's not a deal breaker but means I can't attach this to my key and take it around with me. |

However, i found that the latch which keeps the drive retracted did not hold and i would continually find that it had exposed the drive. The outer shell also feels a bit cheap |
